Second attempt, if necessary, receives 3 points.</div> <bR> <div> If more than five inches of string remains outside the yo-yo when caught, it is considered a miss.</div> <bR> <div> All tricks must be done with the same yo-yo for each tier. Any yo-yo(s) can be used during a freestyle.</div> <bR> <div> Any throw made while standing in the Box (i.e. the trick circle) counts as an attempt.</div> <bR> <div> Only the following may be done while the contestant is On Deck (on stage but outside the Box): Throw-down, Spinner, Forward Pass, a single Loop the Loop, or string adjustments (excluding Sleeping Beauty in Tier One prior to attempting that trick). Anything else (including practicing a contest trick outside the Box) once the contest starts shall be counted as a missed attempt.</div> <bR> <div> Any yo-yo may be used, whether fixed axle or transaxle. The same yo-yo must be used for all tricks in each section.</div> <bR> <div> No rigging of yo-yos or string is allowed.</div> <bR> <div> The contest organizer shall have the freedom to adjust the number of repetitions recommended for various tricks based on the level of competency of the contestants.</div> <bR> <div> The judges' decision is final and not subject to appeal.</div> </td> </tr></table></body>
