Freestyles?

There have been a lot of questions concerning freestyles.  So to clarify the situation I went to the AJA and confirmed what I've known to be true.  You can freestyle as part of the Juggling Competition at the Festival.  Yes, you read it right.  You even get 4 minutes!  Here's a clip from the Ground Hog Day Juggling Festival site.

Competition for the famous PHIL award happens Saturday at 2 PM.  The Seed and Feed Marching Abominable band will open the show.  Registered jugglers will have a chance to win some great door prizes during the competition.  Rules for the competition are simple -- each competitor has four minutes, anything goes. We'll give a 30-second warning if wanted. Cost is $1 to sign up for the competition.  See the list of past PHIL winners.

I also have it from Joyce Howard too:

The juggling competition is open to everyone, including yoyoers! Rules for the competition are simple -- each competitor has four minutes, anything goes. We'll give a 30-second warning if wanted. Cost is $1 to sign up for the competition. Sign up on Saturday morning by talking with the MC (hopefully Rodger French).

So there you have it.  Freestyle!  Just think, you could win the GSYYC and a PHIL!
