I first saw this trick from the BAC, where he did it in his performance. It is one of the nicer looking string tricks that I've seen, and actually isn't that hard after you get used to it. The motions flow, and it has lots of contrary motions to it.
1. You land split bottom entry.
2. Then the next part involves a singapore sling type move. You sling the yo-yo forwards once, however you do not undo it by moving your arm. You undo it by swinging it back in the opposite direction of the origional swing.
However, in this trick your weak hand DOES move. Keep in mind that this movement does nothing to the sling and unsling. It just makes the sling move look harder than it really is.
As you sling the yo-yo forwards, you bring your weak hand downward in an arch that almost "follows" the yo-yo. Then when your hand is down, you unsling the yo-yo upwards. Then you raise your weak hand up after it. This movement gives the sling a weird contrary motion.
3. Now you are back at the Split Bottom Entry position. Bring the yo-yo onto the back string (the one closest to you). This is like the first move in chain reaction.
4. RIGHT after bring it to the string, you want to do a backwards somersault (yo-yo comes towards you as it goes over the top).
Steps 3 and 4 are a bit tricky since you had to bring out your middle finger to land on the back string in step 3, but then you have to get it out of the way again for the somersault so that it doesn't get tangled in the strings. Just be sure your index finger of your strong hand stays in the strings during the somersault.
5. Now raise your weak hand and have the yo-yo flip forwards onto the string farthest from you. Basically this is half of one of those two-part barrel rolls.
6. Then you do a forwards somersault. This brings you back to split bottom entry.
Then you are back at split bottom entry, and can repeat it as many times as you like. I think it looks best if you repeat it at least once.
Then to end the trick, after the sling maneauver, bring the yo-yo onto the back string one more time, and then drop a string and do skin the cat right from there. That keeps the motion going during the dismount.
As a note, you can get into this trick either from Step 1, Step 3, or Step 5. At the BAC Chris started with Step 3, but I have heard he usually starts with the sling since that flows better from the mount, and I have to agree.
So, that is Chainsaw... =)
Hope that helps! Shawn =)
