mike didn't make the choice. the decision was made above him. so, in many ways, you are casting the stone in the wrong direction.

this entire paragraph is backwards and is incorrect.

i just don't think you have the facts. i just feel as if much of this is based around misinformation and ill feelings on both sides. i really do with that people would find places to bury their hatchets other than each other's skull.
