If you and Yomega are so concerned with the state of Worlds, its handling, finances, etc. Why didn't you simply state it? I think private communication with Greg would have been the first action. If that failed, then addressing the community as a whole, stating your concerns, the actions you propose, etc. I think things could have been very civil if they were handled in this way. The way it was done you have lost many customers, made fools of yourself, and created a lot of tension over all.
I have a lot of respect for the things your company has done in the past. I, too, had defended yomega quite a few times from the "sucky yoyo" argument. I like that you seem to be focused on getting newer players involved and are concerned about the state of a contest to focus on them. Backstabbing, drama, tension, flaming, name calling, condescending letters, sneaky underhandedness(look it up!...I don't think you'll find it =P) are not things that attract new players. I think your actions are a bit counter intuitive of your goals.
I know that everyone makes mistakes, and that you may have made one. I don't think that telling everyone they're dumbasses and mindless sheep for questioning your actions, when you presented absolutely nothing to justify them, was the right thing to do.
I truly enjoyed playing with some of your yoyos, and they were a cheap way to introduce people to the hobby, I won't be using them for either from now on.
I was tempted many times to take shots at your intelligence, business practices, and whatever else came to mind while I wrote this letter. I hope that you can appreciate that I wrote out my concerns in a serious manner, and didn't resort to such low standards in addressing you over, what I believe to be, a serious manner. I hope you might consider that in the future when addressing someone publicly.
In conclusion, I doubt my post will make a bit of difference, but it was nice to get my feelings out. =P
